Hi
I'm on a NBN50 HFC Small Business plan. My upload speeds are/were always consistent at 20Mbit/s, but this week something changed and it dropped to 11Mbit/s during business hours. After hours, uploads are fast again at 20Mbit/s.
I've seen this issue before, when someone/some process at TPG changed me to a consumer NBN plan instead of a business plan, even though the Accounts Page on TPG website still says Business Plan.
Two questions:
1. Can support please have a look at my account. I tried to call, but.... massive call queue.
2. What upload speeds should I expect from NBN50, was I just lucky before at 20Mbit/s? Upload speeds and fast pings are far more important than download speeds for my work.
Thank you
Daniel
Hi @danielbrink
Welcome to the community!
Thanks for raising this to us.
There are different types of speed issues that you may experience:
1. Speed issues caused by a line fault on TPG or NBN's network. Affecting all device(s) LAN/Wireless connected to the modem/router this may require a real-time test and investigation by our Technicians and Engineers.
2. Wireless Speed issue this issue only affects the device(s) connected via Wi-Fi which can easily be fix by doing adjustment to the modem/router's settings.
3. Speed issues caused by ongoing outage in your area.
In the event that the affected devices are connected Wireless/Wi-Fi connection, we recommend having a read on the following articles:
