New T-Link Modem not connecting

When our Telstra modem died, bought a T-Link DSL-3900 but can’t for the 1000th time get it to work.
Tried going through numerous suggested fixes on the forums but just seem to keep doing the same things over and over expecting different results but get nowhere.
If I have DSL type set to Ethernet, Cable Status is connected, but still have no network status.
If I set it to VDSL, Cable Status changes to Disconnected and same with Network Status🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
Round and round going nowhere.
Help please

Hi @Muzz105wyatt . With FTTP, VLAN ID is disabled.

If you are on Data Only plan, VLAN ID id disabled.

Otherwise, VLAN ID is 2, even if you don't have a phone connected.
