Previous Telstra modem

Hi,
I switched from Telstra broadband to TPG, but the TPG modem is quite inferior in terms of WiFi range in and around the house. Can I use my previous Telstra modem instead? How do I configure that?

Was your Telstra broadband ADSL or NBN?

If nbn, you might only need to set your TPG username and password in the PPPoE section of the setup. Look for a quick setup wizard.

What model router is it?
