SMTP failing with outlook 365 only

Hi ,

I have been trying all solutions related to SMTP issues posted in this forum. I changed the password, removed the TPG email account from outlook and retried to add it. None is working and I still can not send messages. I use this email address for my business and it is frustrating that it is not working. I will take lots of efforts to redirect all business emails. I appreciate if there is a specific solution that I might not be aware of.

@Syedissa . Is there an error message when you try to send an email?

What SMTP settings do you use?

Initially it just stop sending emails with no specific message. When I removed the account and tried to set it up again after changing the password, it keeps giving the message the SMTP rejected.

The SMTP setting (outgoing mail) is mail.tpg.com.au the port is 25. The authentication box is unticked

@Syedissa . Try ticking the authentication box. 

Error messages usually come with an error code.

I recently received an ip address which required me to do the same after about 7 years of not having it set.

If still no good, you could try reboot of the router.
