Slow ADSL2+

Speeds have gone from 9 to 2 Mbps. Ping in online games have gone from 50 to 200 ms.

This started around Tuesday or maybe late Monday.

Tried the usual troubleshooting steps already.

Maybe there is a fault or congestion in the line where I'm from? (Mt Druitt, Sydney)

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You must be a moderate distance from the exchange to get 9Mbps.

There may be a line fault causing the router to sync at a low speed. Won't be congestion.

Turn the router off for 30 sec and see if it resyncs at higher speed.

Do the TPG speed test from a computer connected by cable.

Check the router's activity log and connection status for the ADSL physical speed.
