Slow Internet - Redfern/Surry Hills

Hi,

 

What's going on with the ADSL speed in Surry Hills / Redfern area?

In the last 3-4 months the speed has dropped to around 1-3mbps. 

I've had multiple conversations with your (generally helpful) techs but have had no solution.

 

Could the nearby light rail work possibly have impacted on the copper wires in the area, causing the slower speeds?

I've located your account using your Community details and has conducted series of tests. 

 

The test results does not indicate any physical line issue outside that would affect the speed of your internet connection. 

 

Nonetheless, I've made some adjustment to improve your connection. 

 

Can you please run a speedtest at http://tpg.speedtestcustom.com/ or www.speedtest.net and provide us a screenshot of the result?

Hi @AR,
 

I ran initial tests on your service and it shows Connected for 2d 14h 25m and getting a passing speed on the line. In case you still experience slow connection to your service; please post a screen shot of speed test result using desktop/laptop connected via LAN/Ethernet cable.
