Slow connection

Hi there, I changed my from the $59 monthly option to NBN FTTN 50 on 4 May, but I've seen no improvement in my internet speeds. I completed all the steps on this troubleshooting page (https://www.tpg.com.au/support/nbn-fttn/problems_speed_nbn_fttn) including connecting via ethernet to the router directly, and I'm still stuck at around 8Mbps. Is there a way to check I am indeed receiving the 50Mbps option and how I can improve my connection? I am working from home as a university lecturer so it's essential for me to have a good connection for teaching up to 30 people at a time on zoom!
