Hi, today I had a technician repair a physical line fault on the property, of which he did a fantastic job. The line is completely stable now, however I noticed the speeds seem to be throttled.. perhaps this was done to provide me more stability while the line was faulty.. either way the technician advised me to contact tpg about this.
I have phoned support, and it was to be followed up as "line degradation".. however the line has been fixed.. it is surely throttling of some kind.
I'm on 100 plan.. prior to fault on Friday, I have received 75-80mbps down / 30+mbps up since the nbn has been installed for years.
Now the speed seems to be capped at 55mb down / 20mb up.
The modems max attainable rate is correct (see pic)
If somebody could look into this I would appreciate it, thanks
