Start a new contract after my current one

Hello,

I'm currently on a NBN FTTB 50 18-month contract that is about to end in a month, but I don't know the exact date. I am considering to start a TPG FTTB contract after my NBN FTTB contract ends. Is it possible to make the new contract start immediately after my current one so that I don't have to live without internet for few days?
