Superfast (nbn100)

I switched from the NBN50 to the NBN100 for the extra speed, but all that changed was the upload it went from 17Mbs up to 22Mbs. But the down load speed remaind the same at about 46Mbs. Could there be an issue with the modem or if that the fastest I can get in my area?

 

Can any one offer any advice as id that is all the speed I am going to get I might as well drop back down to the NBN50 and same some money.
