Thunderbird email errors

Hi

I'm using Thunderbird email app on Windows 7 Ult

When I try to send an email I get this message:

Sending of the message failed.
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: [TPG-A02] Authentication denied. User davidd55@tpg.com.au is banned from using SMTP AUTH due to previous abuse. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again.

TPG Webmail works ok but I prefer to use Thunderbird.

I have not been abusing the SMTP AUTH server.
Where is the evidence of abuse?
