Transferring to another NBN provider

Hi TPG,

 

I've decided to opt out of TPG to another service provider. I've already submitted my cancellation form to cancel my NBN50 plan but my new service provider has just told me not to cancel the TPG service as they will be organising the transfer. 

 

Can you please confirm if this will be the case? Thank you
