Welcome to the community! Thanks for raising this to us. Try to manually configure the modem.
How? Configuring Modem
1. Go to http://192.168.1.1 in your browser.
2. Log in with your TP-Link modem password. By default, the password is admin.
3. On the home screen, click Internet on the menu.
4. Enter your TPG Username and Password.
5. Click Save.
In the event that issue still persists perform a Factory reset.

I have recently took new TPG connection with tpg provided modem VX420-G2v . all the lights in nbn box is green however, the internet icon in the modem is not getting turned on . I have tried with administration however, no luck
