VPN disconnects after 8-10 mins

Hi,

I've come across an issue when the VPN connection via TPG NBN whether doesn't want to connect at all or if it does then around the 10mins mark it just disconnects. If I connect by Amaysim 4G then it works perfectly fine. I'm using a tp-link AC1200 router and I've tried to turn off the firewall but it didn't make any difference. The server itself is connected to the internet via TPG NBN as well.

I've read that the Port Triggering settings for the router could help but no idea what triggering settings I should use.

 

Has anyone come across a similar issue/workaround for this?

We do not support a third party connection or VPN, but you may contact your VPN provider to check if there's any settings or port that you need in order for it to work.
