VPN setup

Hey there, could you please tell me how to set up a VPN on my router? Am I able to access it from a mobile, as my pc doesn't work at the moment

Hi @PSmith . What model wifi router do you have and what version firmware does it have?

Heya. It's an Archer VR1600v. As far as I'm aware, the firmware should be up to date

@PSmith . Version 2 relates to the hardware version. The firmware version is given like:

Firmware Version:0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 200810 Rel.53181n

The latest version build 200810 doesn't have the vpn function. Previous build 190228 has 3 vpn methods.

The latest firmware requires you to put vpn software on a computer or replace the VR1600 with some other router.
