Wifi not working

More often than not my wifi will not work, I try to turn the modem off and on again with a few minutes in between switching it back on and it still won’t work. I’m over paying $60 a month for something that does not work most of the time it means I can’t stream anything and have to use all my mobile data. Is it fixable or should I change to another provider?
