Some NBN services, we may need to manually change to the 100mbps speed plans as not all types will qualify for the top speed tier.
I would suggest a 50/20mbps will offer a much improved service compared to the standard 12/1 plan, and should eliminate most speeds issues.
You could try applying for the 50/20 speed upgrade through your account portal online. This will also be a bit cheaper than the 100/40.
