If you are under the NBN data only plan and will use a third party modem/router, then you need to configure it with PPPoE connection type and use your TPG username and password.

Once saved, you may check the connection status on the modem interface if it's connected or not.

Also, the light status of the modem/router should tell you if you are connected to the internet.

I have followed the steps. I am currently with Telstra. The light is always green. I wonder if i am now with tpg or still with Telstra.

Make sure that the router is connected to the NBN UNI-D port 2 on the NTD box.
