Engaged signal on inbound calls

Setup my Elderly parents wireless NBN recently but found no one can ring them but they can ring out. Tried resetting modem. Tried phone port 2. Sane thing happens when phone unplugged. Seems to be a setup issue. Help please.

    Understand we are having trouble receiving the call but can dial out.

 

 tried phone both ports, and router reset,
don't have a spare phone to try, currently phone on port 1.

 

I escalated to our Engineering Team, and you will receive the update soon.

We tried what the engineer team suggested but no improvement. e.g reboots, alternative phone.   No one can call them.

I am sorry to hear you are still experiencing issues. and I checked your old ticket, 

The ticket was closed because on 27/Apr when we made a test call, she was able to receive it, and she agreed on case closer, 

 

I am re-opening your case now , and soon you will receive a call from case Manager for further. investigations,
