Our home phone is not receiving calls and we also cannot make calls. There is no dial tone when we pick up the home phone receiver. The screen on our phone handset shows the message, 'check phone line'.
This is getting extremely frustrating as this is not the first time this has happened. And yes, the problem was on TPG's end.
I have called TPG tonight and gone through trouble shooting with a TPG operator over the phone who could not solve or fix the issue. They have escalated it to a technician and we are still awaiting a call back.
This home phone line belongs to my elderly parents who do not own and do not know how to use a mobile phone. It is crucial that they have a working phone line in case of emergencies.
Please can someone look into this and fix the problem as a matter of urgency.
