Landline not working

I am now joining the plan as

Fibre Optic Broadband 200GB + Home Phone


After I changed my router to a faster one ASUS RT -N-12HP , the landline phone stop working. The message on the phone keeps telling check the phone line. Do I need to set anything in the router so the landline can call in and out?


While I view the TPG home phone service account, it says my home phone service is cancelled. Will it be a matter to why my landline does not work?


Do router a matter to if the Voip phone work or not?
