Thanks for bring this to our attention, we currently have no information if we'll be supplying Wi-Fi 6 modem/router in the future but we'll definitely announce it should this equipment become available through TPG.

Hi,

Just wondering if there's any update on this? I just upgraded to a laptop with wifi6 but still having a lot of trouble with slow and unreliable wifi in my study, so looking to upgrade my router and/or range extender.

Hi @buonobuono , we still currently provide TPLink VR1600v for our NBN Plans and we haven't received any update yet regarding your query. If you're on NBN FTTN/FTTB/FTTC/Fixed Wireless and HFC, you may get your own modem, but please make sure that it is compatible with your service. We also want to set your expectation that the VoIP service will no longer work if you are going to use your own modem.
