home phone cancelling

requested for cancellation with tpg, only nbn is cancelled, why isn't the phone service is not? Is it able to cancel immediately instead waiting till 10/12? I need optus to port in the phone number asap. A bit annoyed with tpg

Hi @snoobi88,

 

I have retrieved your account using your community details. As per our provisioning team, the port out is still in progress and we're still waiting for the system to validate the request. Once the phone number is transferred to your new ISP, it will automatically cancel on our end.

estimation how long is it going to take to port out to new provider
