4G light not turning on

I am currently setting up a new home wireless Smart Modem Gateway and the 4G light is not illuminating. I have been waiting for approx an hour and all other lights are on. The 4G light did turn on for about 2 minutes, and was red, so I moved the modem, as instructed, and now it won’t turn on again. What should I do ?
