ARCHER VR 1600V Firmware

Hi,

Does TPG allow us to upgrade the firmware for this modem, or do all modems keep getting upgraded automatically by TPG technicians to the latest version? Can you please advise the policy?

Hi @Cathryn12,

 

Firmware upgrade isn't done automatically, but we can raise a firmware upgrade request if there's a newer one that's available.

 

From what I can tell, your modem's firmware can still be upgraded. Would you like me to place a request to do so?

I got a confirmation from our Engineering Team that your modem already has the latest firmware version. My apologies for my earlier statement stating that there's a new version we can upgrade it to.
