Archer VR 1600V - Diagnosed Fauly by NBN Technician

To whom it may consern,

On Thursday 14th we had a NBN Technician onsite to fix our service.

When he arrived on site he informed me that he will run a series of test and will let me know the outcome, as it it turned out the issue was diagnosed as a faulty router  - Tp- Link VR 1600V, which was issued to me when I migrated to NBN 14 months ago. I am at the moment using a Netgear D6400 that is doing very well so far. What I would like to know would this VR 1600V be under warranty for 3yrs according to the manufacturers website as it has failed after 14 months of use, and I was informed that it was now out of warranty?. Could I please get some clarification regarding this and would this be replaced  at no cost??

Kind Regards

Hi @xr64me

Thanks for raising this with us.

The modem/router that we are providing only comes with a 12 Month warranty.

Our Engineering team was trying to call you earlier for further discussion of this case to no avail.

Do you have any preferred time for them to try again?

Regards,
