Since connecting with TPG, the supplied Archer AC1600 keeps assigning IP addresses as NetBios names on my Macs. I know the Netbios GUI is a little random on Mojave, but this is really annoying. I'm running an Airport Extreme via the LAN port on the Archer. What setting is doing this? It didn't happen with Telstra or Optus. It's playing absolute havoc with my network filesharing and no matter what I do, the netbios name and WINS server keep reverting. Thanks for you time, it's much appreciated.
