BRIDGING EXISTING NBN v1600 ARCHER MODEM TO ANOTHER v1600 ARCHER MODEM via WAN TO EXTEND

Hi I already have up and running nbn fttn service on a supplied router and wish to extend the network to my granny flat via LAN1 to WAN to use it as a wireless router extension on the same network for google home commands, can someone please advise as the wifi extenders dont work and the ethernet powerline adapters also play havoc with only seeing half my devices. I want to use the same wifi network throughout and same password would help. The modems are identical

Hi @Jadenjim . No changes to main Archer.

On remote one: factory reset, change its ip address to 192.168.1.2, change the wifi SSIDs and passwords to match the main Archer, then disable DHCP. Connect them using LAN to LAN. (LAN to WAN config would be different.)

If there is an overlap of coverage between house and granny flat on the 2.4G band, use different channel on each router (use 1 or 6 or 11). If there is a dead spot, don't bother.
