If I join the 5g can I bring my own modem stated above? TPG uses vodafone 5G so this one works with that network.

We provide a free modem for our 5G Home Broadband connection as a 3rd party modem will not work with it. If you are ready to register, just send us a private message with your contact details.

Hi there,

This modem will connect to Vodafone, Telstra and Optus and how much will to cost if I cancel my plan? Why can't I bring a modem I know will work? Please provide a technical reason. Sorry not trying to be rude but I have had broadband since ADSL1 before anyone had heard of it. I am also technical and work in this field.

Hi, 

The 5G Home Broadband is nothing like the ADSL. The device is uniquely configured to TPG network and it has a SIM card dedicated for that modem only. Cancelling the service with us is required a week before the start of the next billing cycle. Let me know should you have further questions.
