Can not reset modem with new password

Hi, can someone please help me reset the password for my TP Link AC1200 modem. I’ve tried accessing http://192.168.1.1 but as I have no wifi due to modem reset it’s not letting me access this page?

I have the same problem, I ended up resetting my modem but cannot log into http://192.168.1.1/ I have a Huawei modem.

Still no access to TPG 13 14 23.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi @Holdich1 and @Flor,

 

We have experienced an unplanned outage affecting all of our customers. Affected customers has experienced difficulty accessing internet, TPG My Account and using home phone services.

 

Our Network Engineers have immediately engaged and resolved the issue. Customers should see services progressively restored as the restoration continues.

So if I can’t access 192.168.1.1 to change my modem password does this mean the internet outage is still occurring in my area? I’m in Adelaide, 5041 and can’t access wifi as can’t get onto modem site to update password. It’s very frustrating!!

Any idea of what time (Brisbane time) I might be able to get through to TPG 13 14 23, I just tried ringing and was advace they are unable to take any calls. I am still without internet, I restarted the modem and still can not access http://192.168.1.1. to reset password.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Riezl

 

Yes, I had a tech guy ring me and he got me access to my modem and the internet is working on my laptop only but I am unable to connect to the WI-FI via my mobile or Foxtel. I've change the password and still nothing, the internet light on my modem keeps flashing.

Is the laptop directly connected to the modem via ethernet cable or Wi-Fi as well (same as the mobile)?
