I cannot connect my new Sagemcom fast 5866t router to my HP office jet pro printer. Every other device has connected no problem, any suggetions? or will I need to revert back to NBN?

Hi @PaulineM,

Most of the smart home systems are not compatible with the CG-NAT which comes with our 5G home broadband service.

Hi @PaulineM. On your wifi devices that connected, do you see two wifi networks from Sagemcom, or only one? If only one, they either have the same name, or band steering is enabled.

This printer apparently works on 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, but maybe only a specific one at a time.

What shows on the printer's display panel regarding networks to connect to?

Does the Sagemcom have a WPS option for connecting devices?

CG-NAT shouldn't stop devices connecting to the local LAN. Only stops you from accessing them from the internet.

What specific model number is the printer?
Does it have ethernet connection?
