Compatibility Archer VR600 connecting to TPG FTTB Plan

Hi There,

I was wondering if the TP-LINK Archer VR600 could be used on the TPG FTTB plan.  As i am aware from reading the forums on Whirlpool. The only requirement is for PPPoE and VLAN Tagging with the ID of 2 establish, in order to get a connection to the Internet on TPG FTTB network.

I just need to know what are the configuration to estalbish a connection to the FTTB network. Since the modem you provide to the customers are already preset. That part of details are not shown on your website explicitly for the experienced users who would like to use BYO modem.

Is this correct?

Hi @will89au, if you are going to use your own modem for TPG FTTB service, that is possible, but you need to make sure that you configure its settings properly.

You can follow this guide, please refer to step number 3. CONFIGURING MODEM

Please note that the VoIP service is only provisioned on the TPG supplied modem.
