Hey everyone!

Having mad problems hooking up my new D-link Python DSL 2888A to the NBN. I've checked all of the forum posts, tried everything, and I'm getting nowhere. NBN says the connection is active, TPG says everything is working, but something has gone wrong somewhere. I've attached some photos in case it's something I've wired wrong! Thank you in advance for the help

Hi @torkeoal . What type of NBN connection do you have?

The cable goes from router to MDF socket. What is at the other end of the cable connected to that socket?

Thank you for replying @david64. We've got FTTP - we've been told by TPG that there should be a room in the apartment block with the NBN connection box, but we haven't been able to locate it. As far as we know, that's where the MDF leads to

@torkeoal . The light to the left of "1" means it is connected to something at the other end.

Someone on the body corporate or the strata managing agent should know where it is if it becomes necessary to check the connection to the FTTP box.

This is from the user guide for ethernet connection.
