Device to connect my computer using wifi

I’ve moved my computer to the kitchen area but my computer doesn’t have wifi or a nearest connection only in the front living area? Is there like a gadget to connect my computer to the wifi around my house where ever I move my computer?? Does this makes sense sorry?

There's any number of wifi adapters that plug in to a usb port on your computer. Get it from any computer store: JB hifi, Officeworks, Harvey Norman. 

How far from the wifi router is the new location in the kitchen? Distance is a consideration in the price of these. 

For example, just did a quick search: 

JB hifi has https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/netgear-ac600-wi-fi-usb-mini-adapter

Does both wifi bands. 

I can't provide a specific recommendation.
