Drop out connection with Smart TV

Hello,

I have the problem that my internet wifi drops out with my TV (TCL) about 50% of the time. I do not have this issue with any other device in the house, have updated the TV software, and tried a few tricks the TV compancy suggested. I currently have an Archer vr1600v.

Thoughts?

Hi @watto1987 . How far between TV and VR1600? Line of sight or different room? Can TV use ethernet instead of wifi?

Does the TV show a signal strength? 

Does TV use 2.4G or 5G? 2.4G has greater range.

Any chance to move router to better position?
