Hi there can I get an update to the firmware for my modem, I have read in this blogs it addresses an issue with the 5G wireless network - whihc I an intermittently expereeincing at least once or twice a month.
And before we go there, yes the modem has been reset a few time and power cycled, I have reviewed the Wifi setup pages, there is no interference on the 5G channel and it works fine on 2G and wired. You have to physically pull the power cord and restart the model to resolve the issue at least once every 2 weeks or so.
You have advised in other posts that there is an updated version of the firmware than the one I have (noted below). Please update this to correct this annoying issue. Everything else is working fine.
My current firmware is:
Archer VR1600v v2 00000000
0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 200810 Rel.53181n
I note you have advised later firmware in other firmware posts, and I do not need a tech, just an install of the file or the file and I will install myself. I am in the IT tech industry.
