Modem problems

Most mornings we find our modem turns itself off. Got it in 2021

Other times it reboots

Let us help rectify this ASAP. Have you tried doing a factory reset to the modem?

Apart from turning it on and off.  Not even sure how to do a factory reset

To perform a factory reset, you simply need to push and hole the pinhole at the backpanel of the modem for 5-10 seconds, wait until all indicator lights to lit up and release it. 

After this, the modem will autoconfigure itself that may take 10-15mins to restore the conneciton.

Let us know how it will go.

If I do that will it automatically reconfigure itself.  I have pulled the plug out of the modem to no avail.

The modem must be plug in to the wall socket when you perform the reset.

Sorry for all the questions 

the reset hole is small do I stick something while the power is on and not get electrocuted and will the password still be there

Yup! You may be needing a pen that fit on the hole to push it, no need to worry it is safe.
