Hello. I currently I have a Huawei HG659 modem, supplied by TPG some years ago, connected to my NBN service. The modem is getting old now, suffers heat issues and I experience frequent  NBN service dropouts. To rectify, I generally have to reboot the modem, which fixes the issue for a period of time. Am I able to get a replacement modem, that is more up to date?

Surely you can request a new modem you will need to contact customer service department.

I may advice you to check the power adaptor is the correct one ( 12vdc 2A) before order a new device.

We found some devices has been failing after few years when they used the old adaptor from the ADSL modem.
