Hi,
Our Archer VR1600v v2 modem's 2.4GHz wifi keep dropping randomly and stop working. We have to switch off the modem and turn on again in order to get the wifi working again.
The 5 GHz wifi is working stable.
The modem had been working fine for quite a while but the wifi problem is getting worst and we need to power cycle the modem recently almost everyday to get the 2.4GHz wifi to work again.
My existing firmware version as below:
Firmware Version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 200810 Rel.53181n
Hardware Version: Archer VR1600v v2 00000000
Is there a newer firmware version available that can fixes this issue?
King Regards,
Daniel
Hi @DC99,
Looking at your Modem's version, your modem has the latest firmware version.
Have you tried changing the wireless channel of the 2.4Ghz bandwidth?
