My internet keeps dropping out

Hi, every once a fortnight my wifi says there would be no internet connection at all and during those times I would try to reset the router to no avail. I have tried searching up solutions but non of them work, the router also takes more than an hour to establish a DSL line and I don't know why it always takes that long. please help

When you advise that you've reset the router, do you mean reboot or factory reset?

Before you perform a reset, did you notice any changes with the light status of the router when the connection drops out?
