Nbn fttc router

Hi, my to link router which was supplied by your company died last night and no longer powers on. I have a better r6400 ac1750 router which I have tried to connect to the nbn box via Ethernet cable however it is not recognising the internet.

Is there a step I'm missing or is this router not compatible. Also how do I go about getting a replacement for the one provided by your company

      Unfortunately, I can't give you a black and white answer, at this stage. but in Netgear community forum someone manages to get it working smoothly, please visit their page, because of limitations on PC, my I won't be able to post the link. ( I searched from my phone).
