Nbn modem

Hey just a quick one

I received a new modem( archer c1200) have just had a nbn tech out to install the ncd, installed successfully but my new modem isn’t working, the internet light is orange and have left on for over an hour. I have plugged my old modem archer vr1600v.

Is there anyway of configuring the new modem so I can use this as I’m guessing it’s a more powerful router and as we have multiple devices to connect it will be needed.
