Netcomm Wireless Router N300 intermittent dropping out

Hi,

I'm using a TPG supplied Nettcomm Wireless N300 router on NBN.

This device was supplied when I first switched from ADSL to NBN. I can't recall how long, but several years ago now.

We're noticing an increasing intermittent dropout - devices remain connected to the router but the router internect connection drops out. Sometimes it reconnects automatically within a minute or two but I usually have to reboot the router using the button at the back of the device to get reconnection and, at the moment, it reconnects each time.

Is it time to get a new router?

Thanks

Hi @yogi1955 ,

For customers experiencing any issues with their service, we recommend the best thing to do first is check if there's an outage.

Check our Service Status page for any known outages. If you're on NBN, we have created this article that can guide you on How to Check for NBN Network Outage

If there are no known outages in your area, you can proceed with the troubleshooting steps indicated on this link:

If you have peformed all the troubleshooting indicated on the link above, please send us a private message with your TPG customer ID, username and complete address so we can pull up the account and further assist you.
