Sagemcom 5G Modem - password not required?

Hi,

I recently installed my Sagemcom 5G Modem and noticed when connecting with my devices that they did not ask for the WiFi password. 

I am concerned about the security of this - does this mean that my neighbours could use my network as it does not ask for a password?

Hi @schua, 

Did you scan the code on the sticker to connect to Wi-Fi? 

By default, all Wi-Fi is encrypted and should require you to enter the default Wi-Fi password indicated on the sticker of the modem. 

To ensure that your Wi-Fi is password protected, log in to the modem's page (e.g 192.168.1.1) then look for the wireless settings. From there, you should also be able to create your own Wifi password.
