Slow internet, firmware update for (Archer VR1600v v1 00000000), no place to backup/restore settings

Hello everyone

I need a firmware update for (Archer VR1600v v1 00000000).

Firmware Version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 180828 Rel.56416n

Hardware Version: Archer VR1600v v1 00000000

Also, I could not find a place to backup/restore settings.

One more question. I have a TPG NBN 100 subscription and I've been testing the speed wirelessly and it varied ( download 25-35 Mbps / upload 22-30 Mbps). I had an old screenshot of speed test of 70mbps. Is there a way to correct this?

Hi @SSJEAhwal

Welcome to the Community!

Your modem currently has the latest firmware.

Based on the information that you've provided, the modem is getting a good sync speed from the NBN line.

We've created some articles that will guide you on how to troubleshoot a slow speed issue. Check this link.

If you are using a WiFi connection, then signal interference is causing the problem. We've created some articles that will guide you on how to improve your home network. Refer to these links:

The modem doesn't support the restore function, it's supplied with a customised firmware that allows auto configuration on the network and remote administration where needed. The supplied modem and it's customised firmware is tweaked to work reliably on TPG's network.

Let us know if you need further assistance.
