I am using NBN HFC  with TPG. My bundled Hauwei VDSL modem needed to reset oftenly. Today I bought an ASUS DSL-AC68U and could not get in connected. After having contacted TPG and ASUS technical support; I was told that the ASUS modem does not support TPG HFC. I am preparing to purchase a TP-Link VR2100 modem router. Can you tell me whether this modem router will work with TPG NBN HFC?

In configuring third party device with the NBN HFC technology, you need to make sure that it is a VDSL modem/router that can be configured with VLAN ID 2.
