TPG login password

If I choose to use a third-party router with my NBN HFC connection, is the password for the PPPoE connection the same as my TPG account password? i.e. the same password I login to my online account with?

Welcome to the community!

You may use a 3rd party modem/router however, we'd like to set your expectation that the VoIP service will only work using our supplied modem/router. Yes, the PPPoE password is the same with your TPG account log-in.
