Get online support
NBN installed and connected to telephone line. Working OK.
When we try to use a telephone, the internet stops and has to be switched off/on to restart.
Our land line handset has no dial tone (just beeps) and then the Internet connection collapses.
Please help...

Hi @adsl0cvm
I believe you are using old modem power supplier to your new TPG router,
kindly check and use the original power supply which came with new TPG router
Thanks
Rajen
Rajen,
Not sure what you mean by 'old modem power supplier'?
The new TPG router has been connected as follows;
Power cable supplied, obviously plugged into power point.
Yellow network cable connected to TPG supplied modem.
Telephone line connected, after removing ADSL in-line filter F2866.
The new modem has been connected as follows;
Power cable & converter connected to power point.
Yellow network cable (from TPG router) connected to wan port.
Lan port 1 connected to home computer.
Cat 5 cable to home router, connected to Lan port 2.
Previously, the one telephone line came in to our router and all home phones worked, from different rooms.
All had a line filter attached, which I've now disconnected.
Not sure why the internet works perfectly and other telephones around the house, not only do not have a dial tone, but drag the internet connection down and requires 30 minutes to reboot the modem?
Hope you can help - Cheers, Alistaire.
