Yes I tried a few time login with the new password and I got the error message.
Even after waiting a few hours The error message would not desappear until I did another factory reset

Not sure if you have done any update on my modem on your end but now I am able to update the admin password of my modem and to connect to it fine afterwards.

How did you perform the hard reset? Please try this. Push and hold the pinhole at the back panel of the mode for 5-10 seconds, wait until the light indicators to lit up before you release the pin.
