I can see there is no fix for this issue. 

I'd prefer to return the router and be removed from the 6 month contract as opposed to wasting time trying to fix a hardware issue please.

Same issue here.
This modem is junk.
I have to restart it most days because various PCs / laptops / TVs stop connecting online even though it's connected to the the router.
Is the updated firmware for this yet?
